Frequently asked questions

Honest answers, first.

The most important question comes first, and the honest answer is "no". Read on for how our scored budget drills work, what you need before Column 1, which AI tools we use, and what "budget clash" really means as challenge-based learning rather than any kind of wager.

Do you guarantee savings, profit, or specific financial outcomes from your AI Budget Clash courses?

No. We do not guarantee savings, profit, salary increases, investment returns or any specific financial outcome, and we never will. AI Budget Clash is vocational training in AI-assisted finance management. We teach practical methods — budget management, cash flow clarity, expense tracking, financial reporting hygiene and reconciliation discipline — using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude. What you achieve afterwards depends on your organisation, your data, your market and your own effort, none of which we control.

The word "clash" describes challenge-based learning: a friendly contest of method where you compete against a scorecard and your own previous attempt, inside a supportive cohort. It is not fighting, and it is absolutely not gambling, betting or trading. "Budget" means the ordinary, professional discipline of planning and controlling money — not a scheme, not a shortcut, and not a promise of wealth. Completion certificates reflect training participation only. AI tools can and do make confident mistakes, so every method we teach keeps a human in charge of the final decision. If any course, anywhere, promises you guaranteed returns from AI, treat that as a warning sign.

What exactly is a "scored budget drill"?

A scored budget drill is a short, focused exercise that isolates one finance skill — say, building an AI categorisation rule or drafting a forecast commentary — and marks it against a clear rubric for accuracy and turnaround. You attempt it, receive a score, review it with your cohort, and run it again. The score is a progress signal for repeatable AI finance processes, not a ranking meant to embarrass anyone.

Do I need to be technical or know how to code?

No coding is required. If you can use a browser and a spreadsheet, you can start Column 1. We teach prompt engineering and AI workflows for finance operations from first principles, and we keep AI output quality checks simple enough to apply on day one while remaining rigorous.

Which AI tools will I learn?

We focus on widely available generative AI for finance teams: ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude. You will practise AI document extraction, AI spreadsheet support, AI-assisted reporting and AI reconciliation support. We teach transferable method, so when a tool changes, your finance decision support habits still hold.

Will AI replace the finance professional?

No. Our whole approach keeps human judgment in the loop. AI drafts and accelerates expense tracking, invoice workflow and management reporting; the person verifies, decides and signs off. Treasury visibility and compliance-minded finance process depend on that discipline, which is why every column grades the review step, not just the prompt.

How do you handle my personal data (PDPA)?

We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. We collect only what we need to reply to your enquiry and administer training, we ask for explicit consent on our contact form, and we do not sell your data. Read the full detail in our privacy policy.

Is this financial, investment or tax advice?

No. AI Budget Clash provides vocational training only. We do not provide investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and nothing on this site should be treated as such. For decisions specific to your situation, consult a qualified, licensed professional.

What does "clearing a column" mean?

It simply means completing a budget column's scored drills to the required standard. Each of the six columns represents one stage of finance process improvement — from foundations to a personal budget operations action plan — and clearing it marks that you can perform the method, not that any particular saving has been achieved.
